This experience was mostly couples. There were two boats, and I noticed that the one I was not on had a little bit younger group of friends and singles. I asked to switch so I was not alone with only couples, and was told no. Our boat was PACKED! about 25 people. Luckily, some other solo travelers joined (thank goodness). The boat captains were nice, but so strict. There was no music, no fun vibe..it was just kinda quiet and boring. Not what catamaran days should be like. I asked for music, and was told the sound wouldn’t reach up front (huh?). Then he played music..and it was classical! Everyone was asleep almost all day. We kept having to ask for more wine, and they seemed reluctant to provide it. At the END of the day, I asked if there was beer. The response was “yes”. That’s it…I then had to ASK “ok well, can we have one?” The captain seemed annoyed we found out there was beer! Then EVERYONE ON THE BOAT asked where we got the beer..everyone wanted more drinks and they just seems to be hiding it. The last 15 minutes was the most fun because people had drinks and loosened up. If they had more lovely music, more drinks, and more interaction with guest, it would be a MUCH better tour. Also, they anchored the boat VERY far off shore. They could have gotten closer to the swim wouldn’t have been so far and exhausting. For the amount of money I paid, I expected a lot more. Just a little disappointed. Luckily I met some great people that day, which made up for it.
