  • What an amazing, once in a lifetime experience! Our guide Steve was incredibly knowledgable and we had probably the best sightings out of any group that day, with very close encounters of lions, elephants, zebras, gazelles, buffalos and much more. Highly recommend going with a guide and highly recommend Steve & Addo Game Drives. We flew in from Cape Town and I’m so glad we went for Addo instead of one of the Cape Town game reserves like Aquila. Pickup was right on time, communication great and on top of that Steve was an amazing chef too 👌 Thank you for an incredible day forever in our memories Steve!
  • From the moment we booked, the owners were incredibly accommodating and communicative. We were picked up by a lovely lady driver. Unfortunately we did not get her name but her passion for the job was evident. We were driven around the park and she pointed out various animals, birds and insects. After a short stop for coffee we continued on. We were not disappointed. Animals were abundant. It was hard to stop taking pictures. There was ample water on the truck and at lunchtime we stopped at a picnic spot and the owners of the company made a traditional braai. It was superb. Steak, chicken and boerewors. Salads and drinks including beer and wine were all included and all were delicious. The day ended when we were dropped off at our guest lodge. I highly recommend this tour.
  • Picked up by Steve our driver from hotel as arranged. Steve was a great host for day, he was very knowledgeable and informative. He went out of his way to locate as much wild life as possible. Elephants, Buffalo, Zebra, Wort hog, Monkeys, " Antelope" ( can't remember exact name) , Jackel, all seen. Steve also a great chef / Brai master. Thanks for great memories Steve.
  • Amazing trip!!! We saw about 90 elephants and many many buffalos!!! Dinner was delicious!!! The guide was very professional!!!
  • From pick up at the hotel in the morning to drop off at the end of the day, everything was brilliant. Our tour guide shared her amazingly knowledge with us in an interesting and amusing manner. I saw so many elephants along with kudu, baboons, buffalo, zebra, ostrich and baboons. Even the dung beetle were fascinating. Lunch was gorgeous and the coffee stop in the open bush was surreal. Fantastic day out.
  • This full day guided safari in Addo Elephant Park was fabulous. We saw lots of elephants plus several other animals: Zebras; Buffalo; Kudu; Warthogs and even a Dungbeetle struggling to move it's ball of elephant do-do. The Braai at lunchtime was excellent and our guide, Sia, was very knowledgeable and helpful. As most of the roads in the park are unmade, it's much safer to use a local tour. A highly recommended experience.
  • We booked a tour with Addo Game Drives and were so satisfyed ! All of our questions were answered in no time before the tour. Our guide was also fantastic: friendly chap and talkative about all the big and small game we encountered.
  • The safari was a complete package. We met in the morning to do a first safari that was lasting about 4 hours. We were lucky to see a lot of animals, especially some lions, which we were not expecting. In between, we had a coffee break and the Braai for Lunch. The guide Steven was taking care of us and did a fantastic Braai. In the afternoon, we have seen some more elephants. In one situation, there was an elephant with a little crazy behaviour but Steven did an incredible relaxed and calm job and handled the situation well. Would definitely recommend it!
  • I had an amazing time on the safari. We saw lots of animals and time really flew by. The braai for lunch was really delicious.
  • Totally amazing experience with the one and only Steven as our guide. Great Braai as well with 3 different kinds of meat. Would totally recommend this!
  • We did the full day safari with traditional Braai lunch. Honestly a faultless experience. We were collected from our hotel by Stephen who instantly made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Half way through the morning part of the safari we had refreshments with the most incredible view of the national park. Throughout the day Stephen answered all and more questions we had with his wealth of knowledge and experience. The Braai lunch definitely put our English BBQs to shame! Stephen did his upmost to make sure we saw as many of the big 5 as possible and let us spend time watching our favourite animals when we wished too. The whole day was so memorable and made even better by our incredible driver. Would fully recommend.
  • Our all day safari with Godwin as our guide and Braai master was excellent. His ability to spot the little things as well as all the plentiful elephants was first class. Every question we asked was answered knowledgeably and he had a great bank of information on birdlife too. Highlights were being so close to large numbers of elephants, and seeing zebra, buffalo, warthogs, Red Hartbeest, numerous antelope. And also stopping to see a dung beetle rolling a dung ball :) The braai was great at Jack's picnic area. Thanks Godwin!
  • Punctual pickup at the lodge, very good and wise guide (Steven). He knew everything! Excellent braai for lunch. A perfect day with a lot of animals to! Would recommend to everybody! If possible ask for Steve as a guide
  • We all enjoyed a fantastic day. Steven our guide was very knowledgeable on the wildlife and super friendly. His Braai culinary skill were to be envied. We managed to see many elephants and other animals however the lions were a little shy even though Steven tried his best to find them for us. Just gives us more reason to return for another adventure. Thank you for the experience. Rob, Cheryl, Nick and Charlotte x
  • Excellent day, with Stephen our guide, he was brilliant not only he had the knowledge about animals, birds, flowers, plants, he was a great cook as well, he did a very delicious BBQ, including the garlic bread that he baked
  • Six of us booked the full day with the African Braii (BBQ). We had a great day seeing all the animals including, The pride of 6 lions, Rhino, 100+ elephants, buffalo, Impala, Meerkat, etc. The Stephen our guide cooked us an excellent Briaa. Also his knowledge of animals was great. One of the best trips on our South Africa holiday
  • If you are in Port Elizabeth and love elephants then visiting Addo Elephant Park is a must. Our guide was Stephen who was punctual picking us up from our hotel and highly knowledgeable with giving us information on the park. He took his time driving us around the park and was patient in letting us take photos. There is a lot too see and you will get too see lots of elephants and some other wildlife.
  • Brilliant day out, saw a good range of animals , close up to Elephants in particular. Tour guide was very friendly. BBQ lunch was great too.
  • Amazing day with a lot of Elephants and very delicious food. Steve was a great guide. We can highly recommend to do the trip.
  • Steven was a very knowledgeable guide and the tour was well organised. The lunch was delicious and the day gave us plenty of time to see a really broad selection of animals. We would absolutely recommend.
  • Absolutely loved our day. Steve our guide was so knowledgeable about the animals and showed his experience by knowing when it was ok to get close and when it was not - based on his respect for the animals. He went over and above to make sure we got to see as much as was possible to see. The personal touch at the braai was also very much appreciated . But from start to finish ( from having to ask several times during covid to have our dates pushed back) Clint also was very understanding, accommodating and helpful - and we were so glad that he was as the overall experience was amazing and one which we will never forget. No hesitation booking again or recommending this to anyone - friends, family or even people we don’t know
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our safari. Our guide Steven told us lots of interesting facts about the park and its animals. We saw many elephants, antelopes, zebras, buffels, ‘pumbas,’ and a dung beetle. The lunch was delicious. I would definitely recommend this - kudos to Steven for giving us such a wonderful day!
  • Wonderful experience. Game ranger Steve was very well informed and turned the experience into one of fun and learning. The trip was birthday gift for 7 year old animal lover. She enjoyed it and continues to share about her experience.
  • This full dal safari tour with the folks from Addo Game Drives was very pleasant. The overall experience, from the moment of booking to the completion of the tour, was very comfortable and satisfying. Clint offered all the support needed before the tour and during the safari our guide Langton was super kind and extremely helpful, a very nice guy who contributed a lot to the experience as a whole. I definitely would recommend the tour.
