  • We had an amazing day at Addo and saw lots animals in their natural habitat. We had an amazing guide Steve who went out of his way to show us and explain things about the Park. He cooked an amazing brain which we thoroughly enjoyed. If you do only one thing whilst in SA this is a must do !! Thank you for the memories !!
  • We had a really good experience with Addo Game Drives. We got picked up from our accommodation although it was a bit out of Port Elizabeth. From that point our safari adventure got better and better. Our guide was very friendly and had a lot to tell about the wildlife and animals in the National Park. The BBQ was really tasty. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in the nature and wildlife in South Africa. Thank you Addo Game Drives. We had a blast on your tour!
  • i have mixed feelings about this place. we had been on safari in kenya and tanzania so we were spoilt as we saw alot of animals. i know that every day is different and you may not see as many in addo elephant park or any other park. there is only one lion pride in the whole park as we found out so the chances of seeing them were pretty slim, but thats the chance you take. but we just didnt see much on the day at all. it was lovely scenery and our guide stephen was wonderful and tryed so had to find the lions or something. we had a lovely lunch but it took so long. i think they knew there wasnt much round. we would of been happier to go back early. i think it would be better if they had a safari and maybe more educational talks, just something different to other safaris as they havent got as many animals in there as other places. its a wonderful place but we did go right out of our way to go to addo's on our trip so thats why i gave it that score. i would recommend it to anyone as the scenery is lovely but i have to say we had a good day but were disappointed.
  • we enjoyed our day a lot! Steven was an excellent driver, guide and took time to show us the good spots and give good explanation for all the animals. We saw many elephants, an eland, a jackal and even a rhino! Very friendly guide and a great braai-master! Would highly recommend!
  • The morning of the safari we were punctually picked up from our guesthouse by Steven, our amazing guide. Our experience with Steven and Addo National Park exceeded our expectations. Steven is extremely knowledgeable on seemingly every detail about the park, the animals, and even plants. He also turns out to be a Braai-Master, which was nice come lunch time! If you’re looking for good transportation, a guide who can tell you everything you’d want to know, great food, and simply a great time, I highly recommend this service for a visit to Addo.
  • We had a lovely day and saw over 100 elephants, lots of kudu, warthogs, zebra and baboons. Our guide Siya was very knowledgeable and good at spotting creatures large and small (dung beetles)! We really enjoyed it. The lunchtime braai was so delicious also which was a big bonus.
  • Everything for a perfect day in Addo Elephant. Our trip with Steven was fun, entertaining and informative. He arrived perfectly on time, the car was clean and comfortable. As we were only with our own family of four, we all had great seats and perfect view. He gave us plenty of time to take good pictures. The Braai was excellent too, with plenty of fresh and tasty food. Steven is very experienced and can tell a lot about the park, the flora and fauna. I would definitely choose Addo Game Drives and driver Steven again.
  • Out tour guide Steve was fantastic, We saw so many elephants up Close and other animals too, it truly was the best experience by far. Coupled with the wonderful lunch he prepared a cooked. I highly recommend this trip!
  • Our trip with Steven was very informative and entertaining. We were impressed by his ability to spot the animals and his wide ranging knowledge. The braai was delicious and we had a successful and exciting day. Thanks Steven!
  • Spending all day long with Steve was just an immense joy, we were a small group of people but he made us learn so much about the animals and their lives inside the parc. He’s really passionate and dedicated to his job, I definitely recommend this trip which was a dream !
  • I went to an amazing trip with Steve. We have been a small group of 3 for the tour. I got picked up around 7 and we startet to Addo. Close by we picked up a couple and started the tour. We saw elephants, lions, elephants, zebras, buffalo’s and a lot more. When the heat went up to around 40 we started our lunch. We had an amazing bbq, salat, wine and the far off best garlic bread I’ve ever had. Steve has been an amazing guide and explained a lot and shared insights. I will definitely come back. Thanks Steve for making this trip so amazing!
  • Overall it was a good day! We saw a Lot of animals !! I think Steven our driver could have been a little more into it. He was more of a safari driver than a guide. He spoke very little and didn’t provide us much information at all. That was disappointing!!
  • The full day safari with Addo Game Drives was excellent! From early and clear communication, pick-up from hotel, to the very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guide, his excellent cooking, driving and interaction with us throughout the day, to the fun Land Rover Cruiser and good company of other travelling families. Excellent service and value all round! Would highly recommend. And of course, Addo Elephant Park itself never disappoints.
  • Our guide was knowledgeable about the area, knew where the lions were, gave us plenty of great photo opportunities, and cooked a mean braai! Thanks for your efforts! I would recommend this tour and go again!
  • I definitely recommend this tour! Steven was the best tour guide I could've asked for : Very friendly, funny, an amazing cook for our braai lunch, considerate and you can tell he is passionate about animals. Even in bad weather, he will do his best to find the animals and give you the chance to witness this park's amazing diversity. You will learn a lot of interesting facts about the animals you will see so curious minds, be prepared! I was also picked up and dropped off from PE, very convenient!
  • One of those experiences that will remain in your memories forever. Incredible day and experience Starting out with fantastic communication, Steve was our guide for the day. Collecting us, taking us all over the park with expert knowledge of the area & animals. Seeing elephants mere feet from you, lions, kudu, pumba’s, jackals, buffalo and zebras. Wonderful bbq cooked in front of you, with all refreshments necessary. I cannot recommend highly enough.
  • What an amazing, once in a lifetime experience! Our guide Steve was incredibly knowledgable and we had probably the best sightings out of any group that day, with very close encounters of lions, elephants, zebras, gazelles, buffalos and much more. Highly recommend going with a guide and highly recommend Steve & Addo Game Drives. We flew in from Cape Town and I’m so glad we went for Addo instead of one of the Cape Town game reserves like Aquila. Pickup was right on time, communication great and on top of that Steve was an amazing chef too 👌 Thank you for an incredible day forever in our memories Steve!
  • From the moment we booked, the owners were incredibly accommodating and communicative. We were picked up by a lovely lady driver. Unfortunately we did not get her name but her passion for the job was evident. We were driven around the park and she pointed out various animals, birds and insects. After a short stop for coffee we continued on. We were not disappointed. Animals were abundant. It was hard to stop taking pictures. There was ample water on the truck and at lunchtime we stopped at a picnic spot and the owners of the company made a traditional braai. It was superb. Steak, chicken and boerewors. Salads and drinks including beer and wine were all included and all were delicious. The day ended when we were dropped off at our guest lodge. I highly recommend this tour.
  • Picked up by Steve our driver from hotel as arranged. Steve was a great host for day, he was very knowledgeable and informative. He went out of his way to locate as much wild life as possible. Elephants, Buffalo, Zebra, Wort hog, Monkeys, " Antelope" ( can't remember exact name) , Jackel, all seen. Steve also a great chef / Brai master. Thanks for great memories Steve.
  • Amazing trip!!! We saw about 90 elephants and many many buffalos!!! Dinner was delicious!!! The guide was very professional!!!
  • From pick up at the hotel in the morning to drop off at the end of the day, everything was brilliant. Our tour guide shared her amazingly knowledge with us in an interesting and amusing manner. I saw so many elephants along with kudu, baboons, buffalo, zebra, ostrich and baboons. Even the dung beetle were fascinating. Lunch was gorgeous and the coffee stop in the open bush was surreal. Fantastic day out.
  • This full day guided safari in Addo Elephant Park was fabulous. We saw lots of elephants plus several other animals: Zebras; Buffalo; Kudu; Warthogs and even a Dungbeetle struggling to move it's ball of elephant do-do. The Braai at lunchtime was excellent and our guide, Sia, was very knowledgeable and helpful. As most of the roads in the park are unmade, it's much safer to use a local tour. A highly recommended experience.
  • We booked a tour with Addo Game Drives and were so satisfyed ! All of our questions were answered in no time before the tour. Our guide was also fantastic: friendly chap and talkative about all the big and small game we encountered.
  • The safari was a complete package. We met in the morning to do a first safari that was lasting about 4 hours. We were lucky to see a lot of animals, especially some lions, which we were not expecting. In between, we had a coffee break and the Braai for Lunch. The guide Steven was taking care of us and did a fantastic Braai. In the afternoon, we have seen some more elephants. In one situation, there was an elephant with a little crazy behaviour but Steven did an incredible relaxed and calm job and handled the situation well. Would definitely recommend it!
