  • Ben was an excellent guide. He was funny, engaging and explained the history of the food and the places we visited in detail. And the food choices were varied and gave us a great overview of what we could expect from our Iceland visit. Definitely would recommend to all.
  • Had a great trip with guide Jenny Very informative food was very good Interesting information Great time
  • The hype is very much real about this tour!! The food was absolutely delicious and we learned so much about Icelandic food/culture. Our tour guide Andri (Snowy) was the BEST. His enthusiasm & overall knowledge of all things Iceland made the tour all the more enjoyable. We did the tour our first day landing in Iceland and are already discussing revisiting one of the restaurants we went to before our trip is over because the meal was THAT GOOD. I couldn't recommend this tour enough! If you are lucky enough to get Andri as your guide you will not be disappointed. :)
  • Great walking food tour of downtown Reykjavik. Our guide Dagur was funny, well informed and brought us to authentic Icelandic eateries. We went to a total of five eateries and the food was delicious. Dagur was even able to talk all of us into trying fermented shark, chased down with a shot of liquor. It was our first day in Iceland and this was a great opportunity to experience a downtown activity and get acclimated to the city, the food and the good humor of the Icelandic people.
  • Food and the guides stories. The atmosphere and service at the restaurants was excellent. Short wait times and good food
  • Five stops with tons of food. All the local must does from a food and drink perspective. Everything was delicious.
  • We had an amazing time. The food was delicious. Even the fermented shark was interesting. Our guide, Dagur was entertaining and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour.
  • We had so much fun! Dagur was awesome, great stories, great jokes, and alot of Icelandic insight. The food was impressive and we got some great portions of Icelandic foods. I'd do it again or try one of their other tours.
  • Heidi was amazing! She was very nice and gave a rich background and history of Reykjavik. We had a couple of older people in our group and she was very accommodating to them and made sure everyone with allergies was also taken care of! We tried the shark and it was very yummy (of course had to chase it with a shot). This was definitely a highlight of my trip, I had a great time and would definitely recommend this for food lovers who want to learn some history about the city while enjoying cultural delicacies! Thanks Heidi :)
  • Dagurrrr was awesome. He was a great host and guide! All of the food choices were top notch! Wonderful introduction to Reykjavik’s wide variety of culinary choices! Highly recommend!
  • Thay(Day) for short, was such a great guide! He shared a little history, some stories and described each dish perfectly. My husband and I had a great time! Enjoyed each restaurant and each of the food offerings. We tried food we may not have, when we were on our own. Then you for a wonderful afternoon!!
  • Fantastic experience! Day was a phenomenal tour guide - funny, friendly and gave us lots of information. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous - we left very full! Our family had a great time - 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Reykjavík!
  • Dagur ( Day) was our tour guide for the Foodie Walking Tour and he was an outstanding guide. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, fun and really encouraged the group to enjoy themselves. He told us great stories and informed us on many Icelandic foods and customs. I would highly recommend him and ask for him for another tour!
  • Dagor! Day was great! Fun and knowledgeable! I had a fabulous time and enjoyed the food! His stories were great! Especially the “situation”
  • Great food tour with Ari. Diverse selection of restaurants. Wonderful food. Ari was friendly and knowledgable. Hard to choose which of the 5 restaurants were best. A great day!
