Stop At: Boston Duck Tours, 53 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02199-7658

Set sail for the ultimate Boston land and water tour experience! You've never toured Boston in anything that comes close to Boston Duck Tour! The fun begins as soon as you board your "DUCK", an authentic, renovated World War II amphibious landing vehicle. First, you'll be greeted by one of their legendary tour ConDUCKtors, who'll be narrating your tour. Then you're off on a journey like you've never had before.

You'll cruise by all the places that make Boston the birthplace of freedom and a city of firsts, from the golden-domed State House to Bunker Hill and the Fleet Center, Boston Common and Copley Square to the Big Dig, Government Center to fashionable Newbury Street, Quincy Market to the Prudential Tower, and more. And, as the best of Boston unfolds before your eyes, your ConDUCKtor will be giving you lots of little known facts and interesting insights about our unique and wonderful city.

And just when you think you've seen it all, there's more. It's time for "Splashdown" as your ConDUCKtor splashes your DUCK right into the Charles River for a breathtaking view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines, the kind of view you just won't get anywhere else.

So take the ride of your life. Hop on a Boston Duck Tour!

  • Hilarious commentary Learnt a bit got to see some key sites Liked the dual road/water element Good length of time
  • Guides made this a fun tour. Learned a lot about the history of Boston and the guides were very entertaining!
  • Quack, quack. Very informative and entertaining! Guide was very fun. Historically somewhat accurate.
  • This tour gives you humor and fun history facts. You get to not only see the city but getting out on the water was super cool!
  • Been coming to Boston for decades and this was my first duck boat! It was an incredible way to tour the city!
  • don't hesitate to book this trip. we jumped on late on a Monday afternoon as a last minute decision. worked out so well! the tour guide really made it, he seemed to know something about every where we went, lots of entertainj g stories and lots of laughs
  • ConDuctor/narrator was terrific. Very engaging and witty. He did a great job keeping us interested and amused. Driver was great too. We had a blast!! Confusion in boarding process - which boat? Many are lined up and no one was communicating to the crowd where to be. Easily could have missed ours if I didn’t keep asking anyone I could find!!
  • Fun family activity Kids loved it Good tour of Boston Now you’re making this tedious and annoying Happy now?
  • Took the Duck tour today 9/25/23 here in Boston. The weather was overcast and although we couldn’t get good photos since the curtains were down, because of the weather, we had a great time. Our narrator the Great Jerry (Bald) i was wonderful, very entertaining, funny and his wit kept us laughing as he told us the about Boston and the historical sites. He asked where everyone was from. We had a diverse group, Canada , Spain, Germany, and England. The rest of the group was from all over the US. Several people like us were from Florida. Bill our boat driver was very accommodating in allowing folks to come up and sit in his seat. He did a great job on the water and land. My wife and I have taken Duck Tours in Pittsburgh,, Seattle and now Boston. It’s a great way to see the city by the water and land. Koodos to our crew today. When we come back to Boston we will do the tour again, hopefully with better weather.
  • My wife had been dying to take one of these tours, so I finally caved on our recent anniversary trip, and took her on one. I went into it thinking it would be the hokiest thing ever, but was pleasantly surprised. It was very informative, and turned out to be one of our favorite things on our trip to Boston.
  • Entertaining, informative, fun! Our guide was excellent and did a fantastic job, Enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend.
  • An informative, fun filled way to see the city! We enjoyed seeing the city by land and water! We highly recommend this adventure.
  • My daughter didn’t realize they turned into boats. When we went into the water she said, “Well that’s a plot twist I didn’t see coming.” 🤣
  • UkaLee was knowledgeable - and pretty damn funny! (Even though his ukulele was dead.) This is not something I would have chosen. A friend wanted to go so I went. I am glad I did! He engaged everyone on the tour and really made the tour fun!
  • We had a wonderful narrator Scott the milk man. He's great! Sorry I don't remember the name of our driver but she was awesome too. She let me take the chair briefly to get an epic view. I would highly recommend this tour
  • A great experience, out tour guide was very knowledgeable and answer all of our questions about different facts of the history of Boston, also offered a few tips in places to eat or to take on a beautiful sunset.
  • Paid for trip, notified trip advisor that I was in a manual wheelchair. Arrived at Prudential/Copley site. Duck Tours not aware of wheelchair. Ended excursion then.
  • Learned more about the tour guides life than Boston-,sucked, he was more interested in letting passengers steer the wheel in the water (no safety concerns of course) than in providing facts about Boston and certain Landmarks. Worst $100 or so that we have EVER spent in a “city tour”…..
  • Great tour and cool way to kick off your visit to Boston as you learn a lot about the city, how to get around, and tips from thr “locals”. I took this tour about 4 years ago and was as excited and entertained this time as I was the last time!! This is a great outing for all ages!!!
  • The guide was hysterical! A friend from Savannah joined me and thought it was one of the best things we did in Boston.
  • There were 5 in our party and we all loved this tour. We travel quite frequently and think this is one if the best tours we’ve been on. We had lots of laughs because our tour guide was very funny.
  • This was the 3rd duck boat tour I’ve done in different cities, and to be honest my least favorite. I didn’t care for our tour guide at all, the sites you passed were fine but he talked to fast, and tried to hard to be funny and didn’t give a lot of history.
  • Great way to see Boston on land on water. The whole experience was great. The guide was both informative and amusing. If you’re after an enjoyable quick way to see Boston this is the one for you.
  • Did a Hop on Hop off the day before. Lots of waiting for a filled bus. The Duck was by far more informative and fun. Wish we'd done this and then just ubered to where we wanted to visit.
