Stop At: Cu Chi Tunnels, Phu Hiep TL15 Phu Hiep, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam
Around 7:35AM or 12:10PM. Start with pickup from the center of Ho Chi Minh City or meet at the meeting point then depart for Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hour drive, we arrive at the Tunnels where You'll have the opportunity to explore the tunnel system, which includes narrow passageways, hidden entrances, and underground chambers. Learn about the daily life of the Cu Chi guerrilla fighters and how they managed to survive in the tunnels. You can crawl distances through the tunnels that were used by the guerrilla fighters during the Vietnam War. You may see kitchens, living quarters, among other things used during the war. Learn about how different types traps were created and set up. Visit the weapon rooms and learn how the ingenious soldiers made them. You can also safely try your hand at the shooting range with an AK-47. After exploration, we travel back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive approximately at 3:00pm for the morning tour and 6:50pm for the afternoon tour.

- 472nicolaihon Dec 5, 2023We did the tour with our guide Thuan and he explained us a lot of interesting details about the war history from different perspectives. The tunnels themselves are ok but not a definitive must-see. It is a very touristy place with dozens of buses. Also you do not get to see the real tunnel systems with different rooms etc. You only have the possibility to crawl through a 5-50m long Tunnel part. The shooting range is highly overpriced (600k VND/10 bullets minimum). Thuan is the main reason why I'd nevertheless recommend a tour with Vietnam adventure Tours. We already did the Mekong Delta day trip with this company and also had a great guide there.

Thuan (name means friendly) was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and had a lot of great stories to share! I would definitely use this company again! The bus driver had over 10 years experience driving around Saigon! This tour was a great value for money! A half day tour was a great amount of time to learn about history!

We got lucky with our guide Tuan who was also a captain during the war. He shared his experience during the war which was quite a surreal story to listen.

Mr. Kevin coordinated the trip well. He arranged everything we asked for, a larger private vehicle, customized pick-up and drop timings, etc. Our tour guide Dat was fascinating and passionate. He was full of information. The Cu Chi tunnels itself was an inspiring visit. The determination of the Vietnamese resistance was unbelievable. The rifle firing range was a unique experience. Both Mr Kevin and Mr Dat spoke English well and it made the interaction easy. There was a shopping stop en route, as is customary in such tours. The bus stopped there even though we did not want to buy anything. But, the products were so good that we bought a lot. That place is also well recommended.

It certainly took quite a long time to collect everyone from the hotels. But the information our guide Theo gave us was fantastic. His knowledge and general education were unbelievable.
